I'm looking for a new board, I have the 2005 LF subject, and I love it. But I think it's time for a new setup. I've noticed LF has this new board called Hybrid. I loved the graphics but still don't get too much the concept hybrid. Could somebody explain me? Is it designed for cable? or rails? or boat?

Thanks

In my experience on it, it's best for rails, and is a very moderate flex for the boat so it's not too bad of a changeover if you're used to traditional boards. It's almost indestructible, the rails are urethane and beefy, and the grindbase is thick and rock solid. I've been riding it finless on the cable, and it still holds it's edge enough for air tricks, but loose enough for a rail-specific board

heard some not good thing about it. the way they put those wood stringers in on the outsides that any type of hard landing on the rails can cause a clean break of the board.

thats why i got a company. i guess they didnt make straight stringers. they made theirs wavy or zig zagged or something.

I don't know where you heard all that business, but the company's wood stringers go straight through the middle and down the sides. The Hybrid Watston is as close to indestructible as wakeboards come
