|
|
Or rather within the next couple weeks to have for this summer and I was wondering if anybody knew of a site where the sold defect boards. I had found a site last year but I think I had to search a lot for it.
Between board and boot I'm looking to spend about $500. The boots I will buy in town though just so I have the chance to try them on. or try them in store then order off the net.
I'm getting so stoked, just about that time of year in my area. The lakes still aren't full enough to back a boat in yet. But I have a stuff old 78 ski boat that we may take out anyways just because.
EDIT:I should add if someone finds a great deal I may just look at it. I dont really care what brand of board. I think a subtle stage 3 rocker is what I'd want and I wear a size 10 shoe. I just hate using shoe size to translate into boot sizes cause different brands are slightly different shaped so I'd prefer to just try them in store if possible. |

| I have a hyperlite sub VI board it's a abrupt continous rocker or in other words subtle rocker.. only problem it has is it has one bad insert that won't allow you to go all the way out but that's it. and It has a scratch on the bottom nothing major just looks like a key scratch it's not deep just barley on there... but just thot I'd let u know. i wud have to get the right offer in order to let the sub VI go but just let me know.. o and it's a 138.. |

| looking for something shorter. I use a 134 cwb right no and love it. ut it's not my board and I hate borrowing things. My general rule, if you need to borrow something more then 3 times ever, buy it yourself. |

I'd just keep checking the above. Basically they offer one deal at a time and you can get a pretty sweet setup for cheap. |

I would buy your board first at any of the stores people list here. I frequent evogear often because they have an "outlet" section that details what you're talking about. Possibly blem stuff, but overall cheaper stuff. Additionally I've bought from the-house.com as well.
Then go to your boardshop and support them. I live in WI and there isn't a board shop in sight. If you've got one, support them unless they're taking advantage of you. You can only try on bindings because they exist. If their business goes under then you no longer get to try on gear and you order solely online (like i do) and it's expensive (might have to return multiple times before getting the right size), and it blows.
If their prices are ridiculously high, find a pair online print out what the cost would be with shipping and walk into their store with the printout and ask them if they'll match. If they don't then I guess it's tough sh*t for them. _________________ Today is a chance to become a greater person than the person we were the day before. |

As you said though I need a shop to be able to try on the bindings so I don't end up shipping back and forth till I find the right size. So I had intended on buying the board online then the bindings in store. Ill check out evogear, buywake seems to be pretty decent prices too. |
