Just curious if stomping a new trick puts anyone else on a high like it does me? Ill get home, run it through my head about 1K times, and good grief, if we got video of it, my whole night is consumed... Lay down to go to sleep, but like a little kid on Christmas, just too jacked up to go to sleep, so I lay there thinking about it. The next day, do somemore research on it, look for some vid of others doing it, checking out ways to skeeze it out more.. I can pretty much ride the feeling a whole week, or until we get to go again. Anyway, I freakin love it, best drug I can imagine.. I was just curious if I am the only one not acting my age..

Serious.

Awesome man. Tantrum to revert sounds like a nice trick, I think it's one of those ones that get lost in the shuffle and people forget to try.

You ever tried switch heel fronts? Something about switch fronts always made those easier than regular fronts for me.

you tried any of those whirlybirds you were working on the tramp over the off-season yet?

Man, I have been to chicken to bring the whirly to water yet, but its coming soon... I should have went for it yesterday while I had my adrenaline pumpin.. I have still been doing them on the tramp alot though to keep the muscle memory.. Just gotta man up and do it. And I have been thinking of trying a sw FF, but I just havent made it there yet. I battle with my regular heel front going to frant, maybe I will be able to keep it a little straighter sw..

Yeah, my regular front always wants to default to a frantrum, but I've never had that problem my switch front. The rotation just feels more natural switch for some reason.

Several of the tricks that I've learned have come in pairs, because I'd land something big, be so excited that I'd go and try something new the very next trick. It's always good to have a new trick idea in your back pocket for those celebration moments heh.

You get any video of your new stuff this year?

Nice! It's always better stomping it clean like that too. My best memories are from when I landed the following (in order of how stoked I was):

HS FS 180
Backroll (first invert, and it's more of a mexi-roll)
Roll-Revert

Greatest feeling for sure. It also correlates to the difficulty of the trick. When I laid down my first OA 3 I was on such a high.

Did you jizz in your wake pants?

I remember the first time I hit a wrapped three behind my family's old bass boat. I was freaking pumped. The level of accomplishment was tangible.

I love wakeboarding and I know exactly what you're talking about. I haven't had that feeling in a while but I know exactly what you're talking about. My mind will be consumed by it all day (even at work). I'm basically incapable of thinking of anything else.

This behavior even happens if I haven't landed anything new but I have been having good sets and I haven't been hurting myself at all.

It's a love, passion, and addiction all piled into one.
