|
|
I can do a perfect backroll, and roll2blind but with the roll2 revert i keep landing on my belly instead of my board. I dont know what i do wrong...
No video, but i release my front hand once i initiate the roll, then i somehow manage to overrotate and land on my belly, wich is killing
Anyone knows why?? _________________

| How are you overrotating and landing on your stomach? That sounds like underrotating. Is this on cable or boat? |

Medina, Any way you can get a video? It's hard to figure out what's going wrong from that description.
Roll-Reverts are usually easier than regular backrolls on the cable but everyone's a little different. You might need to tuck a little more to get it around, but again, hard tot ell from that description. |

Yes, i will get a vid asap... Its pretty strange, i have the same problems with krypts versus blind judges... blind is no problem but just krypts are killing, (also landing on my stomach) _________________

| It kind of sounds like maybe you're not committing to your toeside edge when you land. |

Yeah like you're pulling the handle in front of you instead of to your back/where you're coming from (back to the wake I'd normally say). Like they say "stick the handle in your back pocket".
Probably. Possibly. Maybe. Or so... _________________ FlyZone Wakeboarding Costa Rica |

| FlyZone CR, I agree with you. On a blind trick you're kind of forced in to the position but on a FS 180 you need to get the handle almost out behind you. |

| Yeah, just imagine landing and getting on your toeside edge, leaning against the rope. Take a few switch toeside edge turns and really pay attention to where your body is/where the handle is at. Like FlyZone CR, Put it in your back pocket. |

I would be sure to hold onto the handle with two hands until you are fully inverted. This will keep your rotation tight, and then it just naturally spins itself when you release for the 180. Just hold on a smidgen longer and you'll be set I bet. _________________ Keep Austin Weird |
