Ok I know we all go through the tricks that everyone does, but is anyone trying anything new? And you know when you just go out and ride with your buddies are you just goofing sometimes?

I'm not sure what you call them, but those long boards which look exactly like snowboards, we take the bindings off, wax em up and long board behind the boat. Some of the guys are going old skool with hand 5's, yet to get a hang 10 and seeing what ridiculous things they can pull off.

Funniest thing we tried last week, was getting up on your wakeboard, but outside the bindings, then as you go along, you bend down and hook the handle over the front binding, stand up - look ma riding with no hands! lol

I wish! I haven't ridden all year except maybe 5 times Sad

My buddy I live with sold his boat early March, and we rode behind it once in January but it broke halfway through my set, got fixed, and sold right away. Still haven't gotten a new one yet, but his dad put an offer on another boat a few days agoa and my buddy is demoing an Axis today and an '07 VLX tomorrow (I think). I'm going crazy!

However, I joined the track team at school (got sucked into it by the guys I live with/coaches/friends from the team) and I've lost a little over 20 pounds and have gotten a lot stronger, so I'm hoping once I get back on the water consistently, I'll be throwing a lot more new tricks... we shall see! Smile

I typically do struggle with this. But lately I've been doing a lot better. The new stuff I've been trying are TS wake 2 wakes - got them pretty decent now, but not really consistent. I'm also working on HS 3's. I throw maybe 1 or 2 360 attempts per set but I usually half ass them and don't go for the handle, just spin the 3 and let go of the rope because I'm a little scared to commit. Once I get the TS wake jumps dialed I'll be a bit more bored and will likely work on 3's more.

Tried all kinds of new stuff this year, but it was on a snowboard lol. I mainly ride to just have fun, but since I got my 1's down last year I'm gonna get 3's this year. I know if we pull the trigger and buy a new boat this year a real wake is gonna make things a lot more fun.
