| The whole running out to argue with the umpire in baseball is hilarious. So is the fact that the coaches/manager have numbers. I think NHL coaches should have jerseys on and skate out onto the ice when there's a bad call... maybe kick some snow at the ref. |

1> According to the Elias Sports Bureau, In 2004, the average length of a National League game was 2:47:20, compared to 2:46:55 in the American League
2> This play began at 00:11, and his hand hit home plate at 00:23. Let's add a full 108 seconds of post-play elation/adrenaline/fist bumping for posterity, for a nice round number of 2:00.
3> The odds of this play happening are, being VERY generous, about once every 8-10 games (since it's a farm league or something...chances in the majors are nil), for a grand total of 1336 minutes.
Applying some simple math, we get that you are averaging .1% of excitement to tear-my-Bubb Rubbing-eyes-out boredom.
I just don't like the way that sounds. I'll stick to the lake. _________________ <insert witty banter here>

Oh come on guys, baseball is good chit.
I dunno what the manager could possibly be arguing. The only thing I could think of is that he was out of the base line but I don't think that rule applies vertically! _________________
