Can anyone recommend one? I have the JD pull over and i love it, but the people i ride with are not the brightest bunch and if I got ejected real hard would probably laugh. Appreciate it.

Kolola_Bear, do a search and you will find a ton of responses. That said, I rock a CGA Helium vest. It's awesome. Helium is a great company.

a good fitting vest should make it slightly harder to breath when you first put it on.

It will be as bulky as it needs to be to float you and likely not more. Don't worry about bulk just worry about getting a USCGA vest Wink

Ya, I like it a lot and it looks like its longer than the average womens cga vest so that helps add some protection.

i ordered a van helium medium. it came in today. nice and thin and contoures great. but fits much too loose in the chest. i have a 37" chest. online it said med. was for 36-38. when i got the vest today its printed on there as 36-40. chest area is very loose. im pretty bummed. maybe i can suck down the ab straps and keep it from riding up. but that will make deep breathing more difficult while riding.
im coming from a front zip/buckle Slippery vest. medium as well.

Crap. I ordered a large based on a size chart I saw online that said L = 38 - 40, I'm a 39. Now I found another chart that has the sizes as xs32-34,s34-36,m36-40,L40-44,XL44-48,XXL48-52, which matches STANG KILLA SS. Looks like I'm going to be in the same boat.

Couldnt you guys just get ahold of customer service and trade it out or something? I mean if they have a different size chart on the website than on the life jacket, its not really your fault.

The helium (stearns floation) site that we bought them from didn't have a size chart. The chart we all seemed to have stumbled upon is on a few other places on the web. Mine's out for shipping now and if it doesn't fit I will try to exchange it when it arrives. Since its on clearance they probably won't take straight returns so I kind of have to wait and see...

yeah im gonna be probly giving mine to audreys sister Embarassed
fit just isnt right. and i think a small will be too tight around the waist. probly really hard to zip and buckle too.
going back to my 3yo vest. it fits so good. just bulky and showing age.
still pretty bummed. Crying or Very sad

I ordered a vest. Went with the Paisley Wake Vest. Didn't want anything loud or anything. Just wanted a vest. I got a 35 or 36" chest and ordered a small. Hopefully it fits. Having a hard time finding one that my wife likes that is a side zip tho. She didn't like the looks of the ones on that site. All the ones she liked the looks of were NCGA.
