Cable parks are going to help wakeboarding grow and flourish in the future. If there is a cable park close to your home make a trip! Go to the cable park for a day with your friends and spend time on the water.

You will be so surprised how much time on the water you can get that will help your board control behind the boat. Riding around in circles will improve your edges and just make you more comfortable. And you more advanced riders you can really work on your rail skills at a cable park and progress much faster.

Everyone needs to support their local cable park and if you dont have a cable park near by start a group to help show interest in your area!

If you already ride at a cable park a lot try to get your friends who have never ridden a wakeboard to come out and give it a try. This summer is going to be the biggest summer for Cable in the USA ever.

I definetly plan on hitting mine up. Just don't know what to expect. Is it bad being an inexperienced rider and already wanting to hit up sliders. Laughing

Your gonna fall. everyone falls. starting on a simple box is fun and easy to master usually in a couple trys.

Yeah! Support your local (or not so local) cable! I'm usually at McCormick's every weekend, maybe I'll see some of y'all there?

There is a park about 4 hrs from me I am going to take my 10 yr old down for a weekend. I think this the best place for him to start.

I will definitely do that. I'm headed to Wakesports Ranch in Texas from California in a few weeks. Can't wait. I've hit a few rails but never the cable. I'm hoping I can get more comfortable on the rails and perhaps start to learn some air tricks.

I ride at Mccormicks almost once a week sometimes more when I can get some free time away from filming. I love it. I live in orlando and would rather drive to mccormicks and ride then go to owc.

TSR is fun too. I am stoked to be able to travel to all the wakepark triple crown series stops this summer. Gonna do a ton of riding!

dirtycracker, Why would you rather go to McCormicks than OWC. Too crowded? Just curious.

MasonH, Better rails, cooler staff, less crowds (although the place has been blowing up lately!)

LaynDoor, Brownstone in Portland, CT has 2 winch setups and a few obstacles (kicker, box and a-frame). Not cable, but as close as we're gonna get up here in NE... Here's a few pics they posted of the forth last year.

Brownstone Park in Portland, CT is a blast I spent alot of time there over the summer, they have a system 2 and rumor has it they are putting in 2 more and alot more features for 2012. they had a kicker and a frame rail. and the staff was good people. If the dude running the system couldnt tell you how to do a certain trick there was somewhere riding on their day off that could. www.brownstonepark.com
