Here's a few. Riding on the great lake of Lake Austin in Austin TX!
I can't wait to get a fresh batch of pictures this year, I feel like I've memorized my favorites from last year over this winter. Also, I think every one of my favorites are just grabs

Just a simple little wake to wake behind my buddies boat. I don't remember the lake's name, somewhere near San Antonio.

Wakeboarder3780, it's just considered sloppy by many. It isn't too much of a thing, but people will say that as long as you are grabbing your board, make up your mind (or, exhibit the control) to grab Indy or Tail, not a hybrid of both.

I guess I can see where you're going with that type of opinion, but I guess I feel like a grab is a grab. I view myself in the middle of a circle and at any degrees 0 to 359 where I grab is still a grab. It's just that certain degrees have names. Interesting point of view, but I don't think I share it. Thanks for letting me know though.

Word. I think that your argument is just as/more valid as that argument. I do think that to a degree, if you are talking about a competition, or a picture in a magazine, it is beneficial or maybe necessary to make distinctions between a "sloppy" versus a "clean" grab.
That said, I am almost strictly a free rider, and adhere to that mentality to the utmost. If it looks good, or feels good, then do it, and laugh at people that tell you you are wrong for doing that because it "isn't real wakeboarding bro!"

I totally agree. Just for an additional $.02 of mine, I think what makes a grab clean or not has nothing to do with where on the board I'm grabbing. What makes a grab look clean is having a solid hold on the board with your entire hand.
In a video what additionally makes it more clean is how long you hold it in that solid position. For instance if someone holds onto that grab for 1 second versus a half second it looks more clean - it's like staking your territory, it's like saying "see? I got this bish, I've even got it so much I'll just hang on extra long to let you know how easy this is for me".
But saying a grab at degree X out of 360 degrees is just lame IMO.
And for the record, regardless of how fashion airs look, they're fun as heck - don't even tell me they don't make you smile when you air one out.
