Finally got to take my 09 Company Recruit 139 out for her maiden voyage today. Been riding a Covin for about 2 years now, and have had this sitting in my office for the last 3 months waiting for the first ride of the year (water 47 today)

First thing I really noticed was how light the board was ( I have 09 Cells for boots). Its rediculously light. Overall I am totally happy with the ride of the board. I was a bit hesitant to go to a flex but i really didn't find it rode that much different. But I did find that it had a lot of pop and very soft landings which was a nice change. It was also very easy to go out to the flats which I like to do. For my first 2 runs of the season on a new flex board I had no trouble landing almost all of my tricks. Overall I can't think of one negative thing to say about the board.

So compared to my covin, I found this to be better for butter slides, softer on the landings and lighter.
