I NEED HELP PLEASE

ok first off im new to the scene and im tryin my hardest. but yeah its still pretty hard. first thing first. do you take off slow in the boat to pull the boarder up out the water or what do you do?????????? please help.................

Depends on the boat. I have a 185hp v-6 and we use a slow roll on the throttle to full, then back off as the boat planes out. We use a 3 count from idle to full throttle.

It doesn't take much speed to get up. That was my problem at first... my gf was yanking me over and I wasted a good portion of my first season face planting.
We have 205hp with a 19" prop and it takes maybe 1/4 to 1/3 throttle to get me up, then a little more to get the boat up on plane after I'm up (no ballast).
