scored a New 2009 Liquid Force S4 138 with used soven bindings for $375 today.
the board is still in plastic. boots are in mint condish. this board was probably over $700 last season, which is crazy.
thinking i got an awesome deal! any comments on the setup for people that rock it? i'm going from a SS recoil, collin H groove 138 to this board. thinking i'll like it. |

I got the 09 CWB Transcend w/ Answer bindings for 219 brand new. I was pretty stoked but thats an awesome deal on the S4 too.

Buying at closeout happens all the time.. If you do score a closeout try and remember that shop next time you need gear because most shops do not make any money off closeout gear. Some actually lose money. Start counting all the shops that are no longer around. Support the people that support your sport.

Yeah, my deal came off of some of the misfortune you are referring to. It was a shop closing and liquidating what they had.

| I just scored a set of SS PB Floyd bindings and a SS Response 145 brand new for $350 shipped. SS was running that on their site, then I found a shop selling them on ebay. I ended up paying the shop $349 shipped instead of SS so I'd be supporting them. |

the s4 goes for $380 or do you mean the whole setup for around $700. The soven bindings are where the money is at at $420 so all together you are looking at an $800 package. Pretty sick deal as the bindings and board are identical to last year design wise. I actually prefer last years soven graphics to this years.
If anyone is interested, I have a pair of size 9-10 09 soven bindings that I will get rid of pretty cheap. They are just sitting in my garage and I have ridden them maybe 15 times, so basically they are in perfect condition and you don't have to go through the breaking in process. PM me if interested.

haven't personally ridden it, but my friend just switched to the 2009 S4 LTD with Soven LTD bindings from the Obrien Player. He likes his new setup better and it's a whole lot lighter.
that's a steal you got the set for! |
