This was meant purely as a budget wake boat topic. What boats beginners can start with and still have a serious wake to play with.

This *is* an old chart, however it's better than nothing. I would love for someone who knew a lot about boats to update the chart. If you feel you have knowledge and can give me the raw data I can create the pic.

wish i had the time to help you update it, i'm in the market for a boat under 25k and there are a lot of options that will now fit in the under 30k limitation, several v-drives available now under 30k, wakesetters, SAN's, Centurions, people have a lot of nice options, like i said i wish i could help update because i've spent a lot of time researching it already but my new business is sucking most of the minutes of day now, but to those in the market you can find some great boats for under 30k

| it may be a bit out dated for people looking for boats in the 20-30k range because you can now get wakeboard specific branded boats in that price range more freely than 2006. But if you're looking for for a boat on the lower end of the spectrum i think its still very accurate. shows how well these boats hold their value considering this chart was created 4 years ago.

What you guys think? I was thinking if I could get it for like $4k, it would be a steal. I've never owned a boat, would be a good "starter" boat.
This boat is lake ready!
All new interior, floor, carpet, upholstery
Fresh tune, carb rebuild, have all receipts
New alternator, impeller, pump
Brand new marine stereo deck, amp. System rocks!
Wakeboard tower with 4 6x9 speakers
Brand new blue bimini
Tailer brakes work perfect/ perm registration
Price flexible

That would be a good starter boat. I'd be sure to check things out very thoroughly making sure to focus on the engine operation and structural integrity. If the stringers weren't replaced when they did the floor, check those out closely.
