|
|
1. when a binding like the reliks description says its 1.6 pounds, what size are they talking about? and does size change the weight alot?
2. when they say you can heat mold it to your foot, do you just throw it in the oven or something? how do you do this? |

1. 1.6 pounds is how much the bindings weigh.. your saying is there a big difference from a size 8 boot to a size 13 boot? no not at all.. idk why your worried about how much they weigh???
2. you take it to a snowboard or wakeboard shop and they this special machine that heats the inside and you stick ur foot in and it forms to ur foot, but not a whole lot of people do this, its not really that big of a deal to have it done.. |

i was thinking that a size 8 binding couldnt be the same weight as a size 14 binding even if there the same binding. i wanted to see how much lighter my new setup would be. |

| its not gunna be a huge difference in weight. you shouldnt be concerned about the overral weight of the board. unless it weighs 20 pounds then u have a problem.. but ok say a size 8 weighs 1.4 pounds a size 14 weighs 2 pounds it still doesnt matter cuz u cant change the size of your foot.. ur either stuck with a size 8 foot or size 14 foot.. |

16 pounds for a 136? I just picked up my '09 premier(141) with '08 murray ct's (size 13) and I spose it could be close to 16 lbs. doesn't seem like it, but I've been carrying 5 gal. buckets of paint around all day lol.
Not to jack the thread, but does anyone know if there is anyplace that lists the weight of boards/bindings? _________________

| A big scale at my house. It says it's 15 pounds when it's dry, so I added a pound for waterweight |
