Nonpoint, Disturbed, System, BLS...

If I had to pick one song to ride to though, it would be Guano Apes - Open your eyes.

captainbrad1, your funny newb!

but with all joking aside, i think you know what kind of music you like to listen to so put that on your ipod. don't copy what other people listen to just because its "popular" their is a huge gap in ages on this forum and that makes for a wide array of music that we all listen to. i listen to everything from metal to oldies, country, rap, etc. i have some friends that their wife's like lady gaga. (i don't get her, but whatever) they like it so its on the boats ipod. just put what makes you feel good and pumps you up on your ipod.

I like riding to the stuff that is in the wake DVD's like flyhigh said. Global Warning has an amazing soundtrack along with Rewritten and Push Process (a few of my favorites).

Recommendations are the best way to get new music for sure. Doesn't mean you are copying, you go find a sample of the artist/album mentions, and then you decide if it's something you like or not. Wink

(Hip Hop)

The Pixies
Queens of the Stone Age
TV on the Radio
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Beck
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

Junior High school is the last time I was concerned with popularity. With two children under 3 years old and a full time job, finding new music to listen to is pretty tough.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will check some of them out.

In addition to other people's suggestions, pandora is the SH*T at finding new music, it just comes down to dedicating time to listen to it. I'd do it at work all day but it uses too much bandwidth Sad

W. O. R. D.

I couldn't agree more. Thank you for understanding that lil wayne is not one of the best rappers ever. But most importantly, rap with meaning, like the story telling tradition of hip hop, that's way more legit

Great Christian Rock Bands. I saw Skillet and Red together in concert less than a month ago. Red was pretty phenomenal live, I was somewhat surprised, and of course skillet was awesome as well.

I will probably be putting a playlist together with Skillet, Pillar, Red and maybe a few others in addition to my rock playlist that includes breaking benjamin, chevelle, and a few others
