Porsche guys - my friend's selling his 911 - how bout advice

My friend Shawn's selling his 2003 Porsche 911 4S. It's got 75000 miles on it, the full factory carbon fiber interior package, heated seats, 6 speed, etc. It's immaculate. He just doesn't drive it and he wants to buy a CC 210 from my friend's dealership.

He's got it listed on ebay. I'll post up the link tomorrow. The question is, where should he list it other than ebay. Do you guys know of any particular forums where he should advertise it for sale? If anyone knows someone looking for a car like this, let me know. He's hoping to get around 30k for it.

My suggestion is to advertise in a couple of bigger cities around your area. When I bought my car a year or so ago I found it on kijiji (sp). I'd throw it up on there.

Also, I know it's a long ways but Canadians have been buying the crap out of the US. the dollar is par and looks like our dollar will go premium in the next little while. I would make sure the ebay ad gets flagged for Canadian online users. Also put some Ads on Kijiji in Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver Montreal as well. We are buying US cars and bringing them up here as they're sooo cheap down there compared to cars up here. Maybe mention that your willing to ship or something. As long as your buddy has clear title it would be very easy to sell the car to someone in Canada.

She is looking at the new WRX - nice ride as well.

I would rather she have a Porsche...
I told her she would have one by her 40th...I have 4 years to work on that for her..

He didn't buy it new man. He got it in December of 2009. He's put around 1k miles on it since he got it. The car's 8 years old, and under 10k per year's not bad.

Chattwake, Miles seem fair to me too. If you're not going to put enough miles to even change the oil every six months or so, why have it? (collectors aside)
