| I'm diggin the overall style. A little more info on the website would be nice. It's pretty, but not very functional. Construction? Ride details? Is there a special slider-base material used? What makes them better than other wakeboards?

My buddy Diego rides for them, actually has a pro model and they are siiiiiick boards. They are designed for the cable, and can withstand just about anything. If you have seen him ride you know that if he isnt on a strong board, it will break in a week.

| ky1e, can you get us some more details then? I primarily ride cable/rails and am searching for a good deck that can put up with abuse (currently leaning towards a Slingshot though)

GnarShredd, any specific questions you want me to ask him for you? I personally am pretty against slingshot unless all you plan on doing is hitting rails and not air tricks and kicker stuff. They are completely flat contour bottoms with removable fins which will break off all of the time unless you want to ride finless, which is pretty much like riding on ice. Let's just say that now that mccormicks is sponsored by LF you might see one slingshot where that used to be all you would see.
Are you looking at the Rope flex boards or regular boards?

ky1e, I'm just looking for a new deck that will last. I'd prefer something flexy for rails. I do a few air tricks (and am hoping to work more on these this summer, along with kickers, etc.) but really prefer rails.
I got an LF Witness grind series a little over a year ago and while the base held up really well, the sidewalls still split like any other board would. I'm still riding it and it seems to be holding up ok for now, but I'm just sick of blowing-out rails. Slingshots seem pretty bullet-proof (especially from the Shredtown vids!). Also, I'm winching more and it would be nice to know if I come across a natrual slider of some-sort, I'd be able to hit it no matter what it's made of and not worry too much about my deck.
Do these boards have any special sidewall protection? Special base materials? Anything in the 140 range size-wise?

| GnarShredd, the boards are all handmade with special materials, so trust me they dont brake. Last year I rode it on a competition Red Bull Upstream, I rode rocks for three days straight, some of them were not even smooth and in the end there was some little damage to the fins. I put on a bit of epoxy and it is exactly like new. There is a couple of boards with the length of 139, check them on the website...

That's interesting. I ride a SS, but not on kickers. I could see how obstacles would tear up the fins. But I ride my SS behind a boat as my only board and it kicks my old conventional board's asses.
