The 1st shark was caught about 30 minutes from where we ride, and the 2nd shark was caught exactly where we ride.
This is in the Tennessee River.....WTF
No they weren't big. But if theres little ones maybe theres a big one. |

| just googled it and they think it was someone playing a joke. the article said both sharks were saltwater sharks and couldnt survive in freshwater. Someone prob just threw em in the river to scare people. A bullshark would be one i would be scared about. Those ba$tards can survive in freshwater. |

Seems unlikely but I guess you never really know whats in the water. Im more afraid of random stuff in the water to be honest. One lake I use to ride had rebar sticking out of the ground about 3 feet below the surface in one spot. Heard about all kind of random things that were sunk in that lake. _________________ Random Acts Of Dumbness Will Always Be Rewarded. |

That's scary and really a shame. If that were me I'd rent some scuba gear and get a high quality hack saw with a diamond tipped blade and have me a party underwater. _________________ Today is a chance to become a greater person than the person we were the day before. |

I hear you on that. After a major hurricane I was always sketched out to go riding in some of our shallower-water spots. |

Haha, everytime I visit family/friends up north, they cant believe we get in the water with alligators/sharks.
Fun thing to do when people from up north are visiting: take them out for breakfast and make them order grits. |

strange, I do know sharks have been known to swim extremely long distances into fresh water rivers and even end up in lakes, but im just not sure how that would happen with the tn river.
I'm near there too though. scary _________________ i <3 my mastercraft |

The TN river flows by my way. Wonder if it was for real, if they made their way down to you from up here?
Speaking of sharks, I was watching the movie Street Kings the other night. In the end, they're in an apartment and Disco is sitting in front of a fish tank. I never noticed this before, but there's a dead shark in the tank floating upside down..... |
