I'm thinking about buying a winch off my friend since I'm too lazy to take out my boat alot, and the cable is too expensive. Does anone know any places to winch in south florida?
I'm not familiar with that area but check out google/bing maps. It can take a while, but I've yet to find a place in florida that doesn't have at least a few good spots.
Beaches are always fun too, just make sure you wash the winch down with fresh-water once you're done. And keep everything well lubed/WD-40'd. It'll make everything last a whole lot longer.
