sling shot response size recomendation?

hi ive been doing some research and am thinking about getting a 2009 slingshot response. im fairly new to wakeboarding but have been snowboarding for years. my current setup is an 07 ronix frontier 142. im 5'8" and weigh 180-185 lbs. am i better off sticking with the 142 or would the 137 be ok for me as well?? also what boots would pair better with this board the d2's or the floyds. thanks in advance for any input.

142 for sure.. 137 would be good for someone around 140 pounds or so..

idk about the boots though.. get some 2009 ronix relik boots closed toe.. there awesome!

if you're used to a frontier 142, you might even want to consider a response 145, but yeah 142 is just right. i believe the D2 are stiffer and the PB are softer, so choose depending on how you like your feet held down. i went with the D2.
