|
|
I can't see myself spending big money on a tower so that is the question. Should I put a diywake tower on my 205v or just keep the extended pylon for now? If all goes well I'll probably keep this boat for the next 3-5 years.
Is the tower going to make that much of a difference over the pylon? |

I really like my DIY.. If you go that route, make sure you buy it from their website and not EBay, you'll save about $40 that way..

I saw that they were cheaper on the site. Your boat is the actual boat that I showed my g/f to see if she liked the tower or not.
Is it pretty easy to get wire up for some tower speakers? |

I dunno? I haven't wired them yet. Not thought about it. I'd imagine it's like the other towers as far as wiring goes. _________________ just livin' man, just livin' |

| Id recommend a monster tower over DIYWake. Monster's customer service is second to none, and has a much nicer profile IMO over the diywake. A MT1 is in the 995 range, so a setup with racks wouldnt be too bad. |

DIY with a free rack was $841 shipped. and That was via EBay. You can get it for $799 shipped via their website. So for an extra $350 or so for the MT1 with a rack. _________________ just livin' man, just livin' |

| I love my diy wake tower. I got it with the tower, two board racks and the speaker can kit for 1250. I thought the customer service was great. had to swap out the speaker can clamps for a different size diameter, no problem got em back with in 3 days. Directions were pretty good and, Raul, the guy that will answer the phone will pickup just about time of the day. Go DIY imo |

I would sell the pole and move into a tower. You just have more options with a tower. Speakers, racks, mirror arms etc. If you are keeping the boat 3-5 more years then you will get your money out of the tower and it still should hold value when you go to sell your boat. _________________ Wakeskating

I thought about getting the fully loaded one as well, but the speakers don't seem like very good quality. You can get a 4 polk audio 300RMS total and 4 lights on a complete frame for 4-500 on ebay. Ill spend the 200 or so dollars to get something real nice. _________________ Whenever I see an $80,000 Wakesetter pulling a tuber, I die a little inside. |
