| Im looking to get a new board for the 2010 season but I really don't know what to get. I am on somewhat of a limited bank here and I would like to try to keep it 500-600 bucks for boots and board. I'm an intermediate rider (I can clear the wake no problem doing a variety of grabs and 180's/ 180 grab combos) who is going to be doing a lot of riding this summer and will hopefully be pretty advanced by then. I am a fairly fluid rider, but I also sometimes find myself riding stiff-legged. I am also 6' 160lbs and ride behind a Sanger V210 with 1000lbs of ballast pumped into it if that helps. |

check out liquid force s4 boards, lyman, watson.
hyperlite sub VI is sick, hyperlite b-side, and others..
for 600 bucks you cud have a pro level set up..
but for 500 you cud still have a sick setup.
you can get closed toes for 200-300
and good boards from 250-350 or under..
just depends on what u want.. what brand.. etc.. |

Ya its not exactly a limited budged, but it was more of I'm not looking into the top of the line board comboed with the best boots out there.
The Watson does look like a nice board, but would you recommend the 142? I was thinking of something along the lines of 137 or 138.
bridges-I'm looking for a little of both. My old board is a continuous rocker so I've developed a little bit of pop learning on that board. One thing that I'm looking forward to in a new board is more pop, but at the same time, I have had some back problems and would like to keep that element of a smooth ride in there.
any suggestions off of that? _________________ live it up |

For board size 138 would probably be the best size for you. I just grabbed the first link I saw to a Classic. _________________ Wakeskating

| ya 138 is good your exactly the same size i am.. i wudnt go anything over 138.. you can get a subtle stage 3 rocker its what the sub VI is, it gives u a smooth ride but huge pop. but all the new boards are gunna have big pop regardless. if you get a good board for 250-350 bucks it will have good pop, but like flixmaster said the watson is a real good board.. but there are many others... check ur pms i sent u a message.. |
