I am dominating the trick tips forum with all the threads, but whatever, thats what its hear for I guess. Another trick I will be going for pretty early this year is going to be a tootsie... Does anyone have some tips for it? I have been able to land some bs 180s in the past, and have a legit Front. Hoping I can put them together. One problem I think I am going to have, is that I normally bring it, balls out, coming in on my front.. I think I am going to need to take this a little more lofty, and hopefully land coming down the wake. Any tips, or vid would be highly appreciated.. Thanks _________________ www.blackwaterrydas.com |

get your ts blind 180 handle pass dialed. When you edge into the wake take the same approach as you would on a reg front but try to pop it up higher. Hit the handle on your lead hip pull it to your back and turn your head back and down to spot your landing. Try to keep the handle in very tight on this trick. _________________ Random Acts Of Dumbness Will Always Be Rewarded. |

shaggyboarder, did you take some beaters on this one? If I focus on getting the handle, it should get me the majority around right? _________________ www.blackwaterrydas.com |

| shaggyboarder, pretty much summed it up. If you normally huck your ts fronts really fast you are going to want to slow it down and pop it up higher. I actually found this trick to be really easy to land since you can land switch heelside. It only took me about 10 tries to land it, basically if you get the handle you will land it. |

did you guys learn this on the tramp first? And if so, did it help/feel anything like it? _________________ www.blackwaterrydas.com |

Ive kneed my chin twice on this trick, but other than that have not really taken any bad falls on one. The tramp is a great way to get comfortable in the air and practice stuff, but let me put it this way I can do alot of things on a trampoline that I would never attempt on a wakeboard. If you have consistent ts front with good pop and no problem doing ts backside 180s then its all game. But if you dont have those two dialed and you can do the biggest tootsie on the trampoline in the world I wouldnt say go for it if you catch my drift. _________________ Random Acts Of Dumbness Will Always Be Rewarded. |

This trick is definitely an easy handle pass invert if you have the two basics down, being a ts blind 180 and a ts frontroll..... Practice approaching the wake a couple of times and just pull the handle in and pass it behind your back without actually jumping the wake....just approach and pull the handle in and reach around and grab it behind your back.... once you feel real comfortable getting it into your hand just hit the wake now and initiate your front roll but drop your front shoulder to your back knee..... if you wait on the pop and make the pass the trick will really just happen on its own..... its a cool trick too because you can keep your eyes on the water the entire way through the trick too _________________ http://www.clevelandboatcenter.com |
