Ok, this might sound like a daft question, I know you can get coccyx protection shorts etc for other sports, is there anything specific for wakeboarding or would what snowboarders use do the job?

I ask because after enduring months of on off pain and discomfort after a snowboarding fall about seven months ago, scans revealed I have an S3 coccyx fracture. Obviously any slams I take in that area are only going to make it worse so is there anything I can use to soften any blows?

Not getting out on my board and taking it easy is not an option for me! LOL

And another reason wakeboarding is better than surfing, you die less, that means you have another day to wakeboard, which is more fun than surfing anyway.

water is alot softer than ground/packed snow. You'll be fine. I would worry more about your ear drum rupturing or bad face planting with wakeboarding! LOL

LOL it happens - what to do!

Hmmm true water is softer than snow (or should that be ice). Will see how it goes, might try something anyway.
