awesome! I've been eyeing that Bill board for months now.. not a fan of the frank boots though.
The Bill has a bottom concave hull doesn't? If so then I'm so happy Ronix is moving from the flat bottom land fast = soft idea. I hope they incorporate concavity in Danny's board for next year and I'd probably pick it up.
If not, I think I might get this at the end of the year if nothing comes out that I like.
What was your old board? I'd love to hear what you think of the Bill and how it compares. And post some pics when it gets in! _________________ Wake Forest University |

| Blindside_137, Yah i'll throw some shots up when it gets here. It is concave just in the center otherwise its nice and flat. And it kicks up a little more in the tip and tail which i think is gonna be fun as hell to pop around on. I was riding an 04 Hyperlite Byerly with the dovetails and 2008 Byerly closed toes its just a 3stage beast. This new Ronix is so much lighter with "reduced swing weight" and just all around is going to blow that old byerly out of the water. |

| The slider fins really aren't good in any way, shape, or form. They're just .8" flat fins that don't help whatsoever. The Bill has molded fins (last I checked) that will handle more than enough needed on cable, and you won't be able to tell you're finless. The sintered base, however, is a dreaaaammmmm and I love it on mine. Been to cable I think twice with my 2010 Ibex and it's holding up very, very well and I like it a lot for sliding. |

holdsworth, I've got the new Viva on its way, what size fins are you using in place of the .8? _________________ Whenever I see an $80,000 Wakesetter pulling a tuber, I die a little inside. |

The 2010 bill does not have any molded fins whatsoever. The shape and design are completely different from the previous model. And if the slider fins are no good then i'll take em off. No big deal. Can't say they're useless considering how flat it is through the channel, for hitting sliders behind the boat, they might be useful. |

well, not completely different. the frontier, the original bill, and this years bill all have the same rocker and sidecut, so they're very similar, but the new bill seems to feel true to size, while the old one and frontier felt very small. It just holds you up a little better and feels like it rides higher in the water. _________________

curtblanchette, it doesn't??? Holy crap my bad bro!!!! ha I thought they kept shape Then the slider fins will work fine for you except if you catch it on a weird slide, it's probably gonna bust because I think they're just plastic |

holdsworth, yea it's a new shape and I think the first from Ronix with a concave hull for softer landings.. Hoping they do away with all the flat bottom stuff!! _________________ Wake Forest University |
