MO as in Missouri? I hear that the best schools are in Florida, and usually wakeboardmag has a lot in there. _________________ "I knew those girls were pros, but don't tell Turtle, it'll break his heart." - Drama, Entourage |

Yea, living here in the realm of the "wakeboarding loveland" makes it great! Lots of time to hit OWC, year round riding, and tons of camps to pull from. I went to Miami Wakeboard camp for a 1 day session and those guys down there were rad...I even got my pic in WBM a while ago! _________________ "You wanna know what I would do if I have a million bucks? Mister C,
It was for an advertisement for Caribe....they were there that day. I was in the boat with Byerly....so I just got lucky....but either way, never thought I would have a pic in WBM. The other cool think about it was when I called WBM to buy a couple copies of it, they sent me 4 for free. |

Lutee, SIUC and Iowa ski clubs went to Swiss Ski School for Spring Break a couple of years ago, it was a blast. The accomodations were Awsome!. The people who owned it were great, and the instructors were not bad either. They were mostly geared toward 3 event skiing. They had a Malibu Responce with a wedge and tower, but the boat had NO wake. The lakes were low, so we could touch the bottom in most places, so I wouldn't think that they have a wakeboard boat now...could be wrong though. We had as a group we spent about $500 bucks for 5 days with accomodations and 2-4 sets a day. Were do you ride? We mostly board durring the week at Lake Kinkaid In Southern Illinois. Come over and ride with us sometime! _________________ Don't look at me in that tone! |

Hey, SIUSKI ! I'm from Southern Illinois, myself. Herrin. Thanks for the info. We usually go to Wappapello Lake. That would be a little over 2 hours away for you though.......
Also, we only have a SeaDoo, so I usually hook up with my friend and board behind her supra. Come on down whenever you want a change of scenery !!
Anybody that knows of any schools or clinics in Southern Illinois, Southeast Missouri, Kentucky, or anywhere closer than like 10 hours away....please let me know !! |

BoardinDan, since you live so close to TWC, you've been there, right? Will you tell me about your experiences there? Pros? Cons? Thanks _________________ Forget 'Go big or go home,' go big or don't come!!!

Well, I've been there too. Everything is great, I tell you. Well, maybe except the dormitories, but hey, who cares, you only sleep there! The food is great, coaches are great, people are great (except if you get unlucky) and boats and lake are great. What can you ask more? Oh yeah, a price drop, but oh well, you can keep dreaming _________________ Now even tough I know there's NO one in here that lives anywhere near Montréal, if you ever feel like riding, just pm/e-mail/msn/whatever else me |

if you get a group its goes down 50$ per head in the group. Other than that, its 1000$ is the off-season and 1100$ in the peak season.
They also have a discount for return campers. _________________ Now even tough I know there's NO one in here that lives anywhere near Montréal, if you ever feel like riding, just pm/e-mail/msn/whatever else me |

Im thinking about going next summer probably...if my parents will pay for it and my friend can go...
By the way, is it easy to get thrown out or in trouble? Me and my friend get really dumb ideas and we think that they are good ones. _________________ Forget 'Go big or go home,' go big or don't come!!!

I'd say it depends on who you fall on... I rememebr some peeps drank and they werent allowed to but they didnt have much problems, but dont do anything more than this, cuz yeah, you "could" be trhown out. I wouldnt take the risk. _________________ Now even tough I know there's NO one in here that lives anywhere near Montréal, if you ever feel like riding, just pm/e-mail/msn/whatever else me |
