Road Trip in Texas

I am looking at taking a few trips this summer with the Malibu. Amistad is one...what other Texas lake would you suggest?

I am looking for a few Texas lakes that are a few hours outside Austin.

the brazos river is probably my all time favorite place to ride in texas

Ed! Come to Medina... if it fills up.

It recently came up about 13 feet but still has about 38 feet to go before it's full.

Anyway, hit me up. It'd be sick to ride together this summer.

If you're willing to venture outside of Texas.

you can come throw down with us shreveport style on the red river. It's about 5 hours without traffic... My return trip from Austin after Labor day weekend was riddled with traffic though.

Spring Fling is in Lafayette, Ill be making my first trip this year

I can have Justin bring the boat to Medina and Belton no problem. I need a lake for a long weekend or week trip for a group of people. Not hardcore wake. Kids, family, places to eat etc.

A few of the best (family) riding spots in Texas:

Brazos River
Lake Granbury, also the new Wake sport ranch cable park in cresson
Bethy Creek resort, Trinity river, (good for kids and has cabins), new 2.0 too
Lewisville or Hubbard in Dallas
Lake Austin and Lake Travis in austin area, visit TSR cable park just south of austin
Amistad
Lake Belton
