Anyone have some good suggestions for house boating locations close to Oklahoma? We'd prefer not having to drive more than 8 hours or so. It would likely be during the month of August. Thanks.

| Aren't beaver lake, table rock, and grand all pretty popular/busy lakes? We were thinking something a little less well known and not as residential. Thats why I've heard bull shoals is good to house boat on. |

Yes, on weekends. I've never been to Grand and haven't been to Beaver in years. Was just throwing the names of the largest lakes out there-they generally provide enough space to go find your own little spot. Table Rock during the week is not really crowded. _________________

check this out

shamless plug, I own the place. Huge house on the water with a boat slip and boat ramp on site. Once you stay in a house on the water for a vacation, you may never houseboat again - we'll even I have to admit houseboating is a sweet way to vacation, but we are way cheaper:)
Good luck! |
