So I know the answer to this question will be to just get out there and practice, but would love some helpful tips on edging sw ts. Last year I landed a few sw scarecrows, however I had alot of trouble getting it down because I couldn't get the right edge I needed. I would really like to dial this this year, but could use some useful tips ideas or whatever to help me out with my cut.. Thanks

front hip? Do you try to lean into it? Weirdest thing for me, Ill get some great line tension and cut one time, then I cant get anything the next 5 attempts

flyhigh, yeah front hip. Since your switch it seems easier to get the handle in because you can pull with your strong arm to get it close to your hip. Im regular so my left arm is stronger, and when switch its in the rear so you can pull hard across your body with it) I dont lean into the handle per se, but I lean over my left arm (not hunched over bent in half, its a tall "leverage" kind of lean where Im leaning against the boat)

Another key thing is just to remember the basics. Make sure you roll on to edge slowly and do a progressive edge with good body position. Sometimes Ill get on edge too fast and not get good line tension and edge speed.
