c-boy, How comfortable are you with backrolls? They're super easy on cable if you've got them down behind the boat. Raleys aren't that hard either, you just have to commit.

yeah EXACTLY what midwest said. i ride regular.and unfortunately im not going to tampa. so im guessing the same rules apply only its a bit harder cause your twisted? perhaps an unlocked version of that PLEASE
c-boy, midwestrider30, I ride mostly at the Tampa cable and I'm goofy, so all of my cable tricks are to the inside.
I like to approach the corner a little wide to the outside (on your toes) so after you make the turn you're either directly under or (preferably) just to the other side of the cable (on your toeside, cable at your back). Wait until you straighten out and go for it (just like in the video pretty much, just make sure you take the corner a bit wide and you'll be fine.
Another great place to try once you're a bit more comfortable with the concept is straight off of the dock. It's a little intimidating at first but you'll get tons of lift really easily for a raley.
Worse comes to worse, just hop on a wakeskate until you get the feeling down without taking faceplant after faceplant. I landed the first Raley I tried after launching 3 off of the wakeskate.
c-boy, just go out there and have fun. What is your skill level? If you are an advanced rider, then transitioning over to cable and learning flats tricks the first day isn't that tough but if you are an intermediate to beginner rider, more of your time will be spent just adjusting to cable riding. You will have more fun jibbing the rails and hitting the kickers than trying to learn switch raleys, believe me. I'm an advanced rider and I still prefer hitting the obstacles lol. Flats tricks are fun and all but I prefer to get a nice press on a rail or good glide off a kicker over laying down an edge and flickin'. I like to use the corners as my break time.

id say an intermediate rider.i've been doen to OWC before and McCormicks. Almost all of my riding was done on obstacles. thats why im looking for some flats tricks.it just seems alot harder cause your twisted up.but hopefully things will go solid andill have some footy to back it up.
c-boy, truth. With how high revolution is you can always learn a raley to the inside left foot forward right off the dock. You will have plenty of line tension. Just edge and flick. It isn't as easy as doing them around the corner but it is not that much different. Take a hard progressive edge right off the dock, a little extra weight on your back foot (helps the nose already stick out of the water a little) and right when you are under the tower flick/scoop out your back foot and you got it. Does all of the work for you if you do it right. Just make sure you are looking up and not down towards the water
