i bought a watson ltd with the grind base on it. i'm wondering how durable it is. i typically don't hit any rails with the board i usually ride, but i like to make an occasional trip to the cable park with an older board i use. some of the molded fins on my old board suffered damage because of the ramps & boxes i hit. so my question is, will the LF grind base molded in fins hold up on the kickers and boxes, or should i stick with the old board for that?

tprkolbas, You'll be fine. I have a LF Witness Grind series and 95% of my riding is on rails. I purchased the board last February (maybe march?) and during the summer rode at least 2, 2 hour sets a week (now I'd say I ride about 2 hours every 2 weeks or so). The base is still really solid and slides great.
You still have to watch the rails (like with almost any wakeboard) but I put mine through a lot of abuse and no major damage.

Shred it like it was meant to be shreddededed.
