try to take it straight up and make sure you look the way you want to spin. Hit the wake and as your going into the backroll slam the handle on your hip and push it towards the small of your back make the pass pull out of it.

Exactly what shaggyboarder said, try to take it straight up and look over your back shoulder. A key thing that I've heard from a pro is to try to grab the nose of your board with your back hand as you put the handle behind your back. This will help spin it. It's really not that tough of a trick to do, IMO, but it's hard to keep consistent. I try them every now and then and sometimes I'll land it, most times I won't. It's a love/hate thing with me Laughing
