around here, boardshorts generally go past the knee and have no lining in them... i also think bathing suit is a northern thing, ive never heard anyone from around here say it but i could be wrong

Bathing suit.. hehe.. we call em trunks or just swimming suit.

Anyway, just a tip if you're looking for some new ones.. I've noticed, from watching lots of vids this off season, that if there are contrasting patterns or colors on each leg then tricks, especially surface tricks, are more pronounced as the audience can more easily differentiate between switched and not.

I have always thought that a swim suit had the built in mesh undies and boardshorts did not.
