Yes it will as long as you have an aux in on the stereo. Most new aftermarket and lots of newer oem stereos have this. whether it be white/red rca inputs on the back (best option) or a 1/8" stereo input on the front (still ok but it will probably need another 5-10 dollar cable purchased to make it work.) A friend had one of these on his sea ray and it worked great for bugging friends when they wouldn't go big

Ok I get ya but in order for another boat to hear you talking (yelling) on that thing it would have to be awefully loud. You have to remember that the boat you are in is loud....then there's the distance in between and the noise of their boat to contend with. It might work...but we're talking major wattage. For trying to signal another boat u would be better off with an air horn!!

Talking to your rider on the other hand shouldn't be as hard. Would you mind telling me which head unit you are running in your boat? Or whether or not it has a "line in" or "aux in" built into it. Or do u have an amplifier(s) in the boat? If u let me know what u have I can help u figure out what u need to make that work.

Ok sweet if u think that another boat will hear it that will work perfect. What you would do by the looks of things (I can't actually see inputs/outputs of the mic unit. just by reading about it) you would just pull the white rca cable and the red rca cable on your amp. That would get plugged into the new mic unit. Then (unless supplied, it doesn't say) you need to buy two more cables. These will be male (on both ends) rca cables. Then you would find an output for each of those two cables on the back of the mic box and then plug the other end of those two into the amp from where you originally pulled the other cables out of. Because you have an amp setup you will not have to do anything with the aux in on the head unit of the boat which is nice. Then I'm pretty sure all you need is a live 12volt power source(off a switch or ignition), and a ground. Once you have those you should be set. That is the most common way of installing those systems.
