Can't comment on Ski Rixen I've only ridden at OWC. One of my riding buddies and his girl just got back from Rixen after delivering a boat to Miami. He said it was a blast.
I'll also say that if you have the opportunity to go, then go. If you consider yourself a wakeboarding enthusiast then you owe it to yourself to give cable a try. The first time I ever rode a cable I'd only been wakeboarding for about 6 months so don't worry about your skills.
Also, there are always riders willing to give pointers to the first timers. Talk to the guys running the starting docks, they'll tell you what you need to know. _________________ Hilton Head Wake Sports.com

| Well, without your own gear it probably won't be as fun. They won't let you hit any of the obstacles with their equipment. |
