|
|
I just wired up this 1k watt-4 channel amp. I think it came out pretty good. What do you guys think?
I am also considering putting 1 or 2 subs under the rear bench. Could I use the "locker" as the box? If that makes any sense. |

Looks pretty good. I'd probably mount the sub in either of those spots but enclose it on the back side with a sealed box or ported box design. _________________ If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular? |

| Is that a marine amp? I'm always wary of smaller amps that claim big wattages... also of amps that don't have any brand name on them. The install looks real clean though. |

Seems like the amp will be out of the way enough that it wont get water on it, just make sure like the other guys said if you do subs make them in an enclosure. talk to your local audio store and find your options, might find a couple of subs that will work well in small enclosures _________________ www.bigairnz.com kiteboarding NZ |

eric-holmes, Seems like it would be easy enough to put the subs towards the edge of the compartment and box them in with a partition and lid. That way you still have a storage locker in the middle without compromising too much.
Generally a 10" sub will want around 1 cu ft of box so going by that the full locker will be far too big.... _________________ www.AxisBoats.co.uk | www.Malibu-Boats.co.uk |

| looks like your amp will get soaked there. clean install but people getting in the boat will drip on the seat and then leak down onto the amp. just my .02 cents. |
