Besides AMG

I have 4 of these AMG rims, which I am about to put online to sell... I was just wondering if they had a special name i could use for searching.

So i could compare it against ebay prices etc...

Or does anyone have a sugguest used value for these wheels and tires...

Thanks!

I would have bought them from you about 2 years ago.

I would just put them on ebay and advertise as used OEM MB SL500 AMG 19" Wheels. also check there to see what others are selling for. My brother just sold his AMG wheels off of a 2008 CLS63 and only got like 1,200.

Would also check with the dealer to see what other models they fit. Think they will fit the CLS and E. But, not sure.

There a few listings

$5000 - $7000

His have abotu 1,000 miles on the tread and come with the mich. pilot tires...I think ebay is going to be my best choice...

I think 5-7 is way out of the ballpark. Those were all "buy it now" price. Not actual bids. And, one was buy it now of 3,200. If the tires on them are in good shape, you might get 3,500.

My brothers tires were worn out and I think the tires are 350-400 a peice and his actually sold for $1200. So, with good tires, he night have got 3,000. 1000 miles on the ps2's could mean 50% worn out and could mean 10% worn out.

Id say closer to 10% this car never got driven.

I emailed one of the listers (with the 5-7) and he might just buy them off me ... we shall see.

ps2s are a great tire. Browse some mercedes forums and try checking out forsale sections etc. Im not to keen on mercedes, but I know for bmws, m3s specifically premium wheels are around a 1200-2000 option from the factory, and they usually fetch about that price when they go up for sale. 5-7 seems way off in my head.

i don't understand why people spend ridiculous amount of money on wheels that look like stock wheels. just because it says "amg" on it, doesn't mean it looks nice.

i'm just sayin'....

Michi PS2s are and awesome, pricey tire. I bought a set last year when my SL needed new shoes, roughly $400 per tire.

some people think that if you put aftermarket wheels on a benz (insert other luxury car) then it cheapens the car and makes it appear too much like "look at me" even more than the car already does. so, the premium "stock" wheels for the car make more of a subtle statement.

I am probably one of those thinkers. So, when a car has nice factory wheel options, I would rather do that than put aftermarket on there. For example, I wouldn't put Asanti wheels on a Benz because I could get AMG wheels. But, I would put them on a Rover because the stock rover wheels suck.

Just my thoughts.

You have the wrong tires on your rover. Or, you got screwed.

Well on tire rack the tire was $200, from the dealer it was $279, i was in Miami for the weekend, and needed a tire replaced that day so we could drive back to miami... i walked out of the goodyear tire store $380 poorer.

And no, they are stock oem tires.

Sorry, I have an R129 I like the stock look and those newer wheels would just look goofy.

Tires are these types of cars are a pain in the @ss.

It costs me $1,200 every 20-25k miles to replace the tires on my 7 series. You can't rotate them and they have so much camber that they wear extremely quick.

Those wheels are worth a few grand. I know a new set will squeeze 7-8k out of your wallet. The single piece rims for these makes (with exception to the 3-series/C-class size cars) are approximately $1,200/rim.
