Why do people come to the library and sing?

I'm in here right now studying for a zoology test and their is a damn group of black girls in the room next to me, and you would think it is gospel sunday right now.

Now we are in closed off separate rooms and I can hear them as if they were sitting right next to me yelling in my ear. They aren't casually singing they are fukcing yellin this stuff out as loud as they can.

Its a library shut the hell up.

I had the same thing happen, though in an otherwise quiet student union. It blows my mind, that aspect of their culture.

Aspect of their culture... I don't know if you're just trying to start something, but the VAST majority of people, black or otherwise, do not sing loudly in otherwise quiet public locations.

Dude, pretty much with 100% accuracy, whenever there is a person or group of people, headphones or not, singing inappropriately loudly in a public place, they are black. no offense intended. It's just true.

Same with talking to the screen in movies. White people jsut don't do that, but blacks seem to do it constantly. especially in a group.

Boo hoo. Most black chicks (that Ive ever been around) are loud and annoying as hell. Get over it. If he said white girls were being annoying you wouldn't have even noticed.

People are loud in the library because they don't care. They aren't respectful, that's it...not much else to even say.

I didn't even see them because they are on the other side of a wall. I just knew they were black. They are the only race that does it. White people don't do it, mexicans don't, nor does any other race. Its just a plain and simple fact that they do it and other races don't. Nothing racist about it, that's just how it is.

My black roomates are ridiculously loud, all the time. I feel the exception to black people being loud is if they are raised in an area of mostly whites or by parents who have the courtesy and respect for others to not let everyone around them know the latest soulja boy, gucci mane, or weezy lyrics. Also, note that I chose to live with these loud friends because they are great people and fun to be around, but even though they have high quality headphones in which the volume can be louder to the listener as well as have higher quality than their logitech 5.1 system, the urge to let everyone know what music they are listening to is too irresistible.

EDIT- Also, my roomies told me that black women suck. They are loud(er?), are terrible, annoying, and rather mean and demanding (according to them).

finally somebody that recognizes the obnoxious loud tendencies of black people. Rather it be headphones around their neck blasting full blast for everyone to hear, or screaming and laughing so i can hear them halfway across campus. FFS STOP MAKING A SPECTACLE EVERY CHANCE YOU GET!

I grew up in neighborhoods with very few black people so I don't know their idiosyncrasies and I won't speak to that.

I will say that I've ridden BART to the Coliseum for a few Raider games and often times when people are being ridiculously loud they are black. Could just be Raider fans though.

it's funny because i can be talking to a guy one to one and have a completely normal conversation. but if i see that same guy with a group of his black friends they tend to act like they're in a ludacris video.

I just find it amusing that instead of going to the next room and politely asking them to sing quieter or move to someplace more appropriate so you could study for your test, you chose to rant about a group of people for almost 5 hours.

I completely understand where your coming from, but instead of bitching, do something about it! You could have asked them to stop singing, go someplace better for that kind of activity, or you could have gone someplace quieter yourself.

Can we expect anther rant in the next few days about how badly you did on your zoology test because some BLACK kids wouldn't stop singing?
