I dont even get it why you guys dont board, aslong as there is no snow, you can board, just wear something warm.
Man i hate all the pussys here and all those cableparks that are closed. You can easy wakeboard for 4 hours in a row at 5 degrees water and air...

NKCrider, I hear ya, it was about 70 here and we just couldn't resist sneekin out for 1 more ride
Medina, The main reason I don't get a dry suit and extend my season out is because I have an I/O that HAS to be winterized, goes in on the 16th, so my season will for sure be over after that. _________________

I used to have an I/O. Its pretty easy to just drain the boat, and then if it's warm enough set it up for a day of riding and at the end drain it again. Here in Canada it was getting way below freezing at the end of september so we had to do that a few times. With that said it is a fair bit of work so I guess it depends on how desperate you are to board.
I'm just jealous. _________________ 2010 Watson Hybrid

We have had some beautiful weather here in Tennessee this past week, and espically today.
To bad we winterized the boat, and put it away already. |

| its been 85 and sunny all week. been riding all week. Granted 85 is pretty cold since were used to the 120 plus summers. The main reason we stop is that the water level isnt really enough to go out. not worth the risk. plus basketball season starts. |

Today we had about 70ish in North East Tn, would have been a great time to get out there and ride. Water is around 58, but I would have made it work lol...We winterized (aka pulled the plugs, heater lines) and we could take it back out, but I dont want to risk anything (hitting a log/rock on low lake water) this close to trading it in on a new boat....but dang, it would have been nice, im wanting to ride.... _________________ How much work would a network work if a network could network? |

Welp it's all over now for sure boat went into the shop for winterization this morning. Oh well was one hell of a fun season, now hope the snow flies around here pretty soon. Anyone on here been to Mt. Cresant in Ia.? I'm planning on going over there a bunch this winter, so by the time I go to Key for winter vacation I'll actually be somewhat good at it. _________________
