Hey Dudes,

I am 19 Years Old, 70 Killograms (Think thats 170 lbs?) And 180cm (Think thats 5ft 5inch?)

On the moment i have a 137cm board. Now i am looking for a Ronix One board, does anyone of you have experience with that board? The most close size is 138cm, is it to big, or good?

I have no experience of ronix one, and i want to get some more pop at the cable, and a nice ride ofcourse,

Thanks! Laughing

138 is perfect get it. It holds up fairly well to ramps/rails as well.

Somebody knows how this board reacts? Is it a quik board with a strong edge?? Jstar Empire 138cm Smile I want to use it for cable... I know its a bit older board, but its also cheap, what i am really looking for is a nice hyperlite clash but i dont think i ll get that...

If you are 180cm, then you are 6 foot tall. A 138 is a little small, I know on cable you can get away with a smaller board and it helps to sink the edge.

My question is this...why aren't you looking for a board that will hold up on the sliders etc of the cable? Traditional boards get thrashed, I'm sure you know that. You could get a Slingshot or a Company deck or even CWB's new Vibe (which is perfect with its shallow, long base fins and ABS Sidewall). Those boards are designed to handle the thrashing.

Edit: Also a One has a beveled edge between your feet that will make it a little harder to sink the edges. Its a design feature that makes the board ride with an increased "nose up" angle on the water (helps get up and over big wakes).

yeah I would def think that you would be more interested in the base material, side wall, ect. I own a slingshot and love it, I know that LF offers some of their stiff boards with grind bottoms if youre not into flex

Yeah I have a 09 ronix one 139, and I have rode it on cable twice (the only exposure it gets to rails), and it looks ROUGH on the bottom. It had some pretty good dings, and it worn down overall. I love the way the board rides, but I bet I could thrash that board completely if I rode it on rails like 5 more times.

That being said, if you are hitting cable all the time you might want to get something more durable.
