Hey all,

I've been working with OJ Props' ( http://www.ojprops.com ) Tim Creighton (director of Engineering) to develop, what we be lieve, is the first application of a folding swim platform for the MC Prostar 205v hull.

I got everything assembled tonight and will run the rest of the season before removing the brackets and sending back for annodizing.

Folded down, the platform sticks out about 8" from centerline of transom. The overall length savings is about 14".

Here are a few pictures.

It's an OJ design. They do it for a # of boats already, just not the 205v...until now.

Do they need a marketing guy, cause that's the first I've ever heard of something like that?

I got to put the brackets to use over this weekend. They are awesome. Rock solid.

Beyond their space saving use, they also make it really easy to put on your tie-downs and wipe down the entire transom after use! Also, no more reaching over the entire platform when you have to buckle down the cover (while on the trailer).

P hat in Cincy, how much was it for your boat? That will be nice in saving some space in my shop.

Haugy...You'll have to drop them a line/shoot them an email to see what the production pricing is going to be.

Ya can't just tell me what your's cost? Gives me an idea.

Plus, do you not have a trim tab? I know that mine would hit the platform and keep it from folding down flush.

They'll probably end up being ~$300 for the set.

My ride is an '04, so no trim plate. If you can tell me how far down and how far out your trim plate is, I could check it out for you.

P hat in Cincy is right....
They run around $300 with clear coat anodize. Plating and colors are additional charge. We also offer them in unfinished (See Phat in Cincy photos) The platform arms and brackets are uncoated in his photos. Unplated sets are $10.00 less so you can choose your own source for plating / colors.
