I have a 98 ski nautique closed bow. I am looking to improve my wake. I bought 2 side ballasts that should put about another 550-700 lbs in the boat. I don't want to lose my back seat are there any ballasts that I can put in that wont compromise any space like the system for the air nautiques that fatsac makes. I saw that fatsac will custom make any size ballast maybe that is the only way to go?

pretty sure you'd have to tear up your floors to install something that wouldn't compromise space in your boat. 90% of my wakeboarding career was behind a prostar 190 and typically what we did was 2 500#ish sacks on each side of the engine, people and if needed a sac in the back as well. totally loaded like that the wake was still a bit small but it was definitely workable. For awhile we even ran concrete in tupperware bins and just placed them around the boat as needed.

Lead Bars Hidden all over the boat is probably what you are looking for.

2 side sacs have always been the best for that type of boat.
