Checking in.

I'm the dumbest damn manager you've ever seen. Since my staff is working I figured I'd come in and support them. I don't want them thinking that I feel I'm better than them. So I told them, "I'll be here Monday, if you've gotta work, so do I."

My buddies call me up for a spur of the moment wheeling trip in perfect weather. Damn my big mouth. FML

So here I am doing a half day. Wheeee.

Haugy, right there with ya...Working today since I would have to put in for PL if not and I didnt want to waste it on an easy day since nobody else is here...Figure ill try to scoot out early (since im always on call)...weather here sucks, overcast and just yuck...send some good weather up this way...
Btw, we will be up there for a doc appt at vandy on the 23rd, maybe try to catch up with ya for lunch or dinner or somethin...her appt is at 2....

Oh man, I worked so hard today. I'm just exhausted. I'm so tired from all the perfect buttery water I can barely type this right now. And all the hard work cracking open those ICE cold beers out on the water all day just wore me out.

blitzentrapped, Surprisingly there were very few boats on the water today. Usually its packed on any holiday. I guess everyone went to the river instead of the lake.

blitzentrapped, I had it all morning too. It was 65 degrees, cloudy, and foggy, so there was not a damned soul on the lake before noon. I've never ridden in thick fog before-was pretty sweet. There was enough visibility to see other boats within our area so it was safe, but otherwise was really weird. Shoulda snapped a few pics. Was a good deal-the fog covered up my crappy riding.

this is our 3rd day of 150+ patients at the peds office following labor day. we have been starting at 7:45 and going till about 6:15 both days without a lunch break. Even the doctors are losing it, but if i were then I would just be seeing dollar signs lol. this has been a damn profitable three days. if i knew so many kids would get swine flu, i would have actually used labor day weekend to sleep, and then to add on the parents that think there kid has swine flu because they are sneezing and have a cough, i'm ready to lose it. How I haven't gotten swine is absolutely a miracle. We had 32 positive swines tuesday and 24 yesterday and I think we will only get 5 or so today. Most of the kids who had to get to the doctor have. Thank the baby jesus we only work till 2 on fridays.

Well, was going to 'work it' on the lake, but we had late-afternoon problems at the yard needin' a fix.
