It looked like you let go because of your underroation there... Bring the handle to the small of your back. Do you have an attempt where you make the full rotation and just miss the handle?? That will be more helpful.. there are too many factors if you underrotate/ case the wake. I personally drop the handle (too much Razz ) once i realize I'm not clearing the wake/ underroation ect.

you need a shorter cut.
take the handle to the small of your back. knuckles touching the small of your back will help you locate it with the other hand.

Ya i would def take a jug or milk carton and fill with a lil sand or water and connect it to a spare handle and practice some handle passes on land at home. def helps out alot.

been a long time since I've been in here.....

You are NOT pulling the handle...

POP
PULL
PASS

Don't let go of the handle till you have it in the other hand.
This is a handle pass trick pass the handle trick is done.

I pop, point my butt to the boat and put my hand in the small of my back, That also helps me maintain my axis.

+1 J_DOGG, make sure you're pulling on the handle with both hands for the pull.

my first attempts at tryin 3's i had the same problem, i tied my line to a tree and got the feel for it on a trampoline, even if u can already do it easily on a trampoline, keep doing it over and over, and rite when i went out there, i had no trouble with the handle pass at all, it just went away, but if u dont have a trampoline, just try tuggin hard on the handle so it gives u ur spin, and bring it to the small of ur back then catch it with ur other hand, make sure ur eyes are open and looking towards the wake so u can spot ur landing

Yeah, you need to cut back in on that progressive edge and really lean into the wake. When you pop off, make sure that you wait to pass/turn at the apex of the jump, that way you will stay balanced and wont get pulled to one side and bite it hard (i got a minor concussion doing this, dont be scared, its because i was tired and didnt know when enough was enough!). But just keep trying and dont give up, you can do it!
