how do you generate the most possible pop?
so i can go wake to wake hs basically every time but the thing is i dont really get the height i want. even the jumps i take a little into the flats and i feel like its huge, on tape its pretty low. i know the "progressive edge" thing and "standing tall", but when you stand tall on/riding up the wake is the board edged in or flat? ive read that you want to hold the deepest edge as you ride up the wake but when i was watching the learnwake video the guy cut hard and then at the last minute stood flat with the board flat at the wake and popped. if the board is edged in as hard as possible at the top of the wake, wont you jsut zoom across like on a slalom ski kind of?
i want my jumps to be poppy and high, not fast and flat. if someone could help me and really just break down a HS edge to jump thatd be great-- when to edge, when to edge harder, when to stand tall and how edged in the board is at all times.
thanks for reading this whoever did and please reply!

Post the video... we'll tell ya what you're doing wrong.
To me, it sounds like you're crossing the wake with speed instead of pop. My guess is you are not standing as tall as you should when you cross the wake and you are absorbing a lot of the pop with your knees. Work on taking some small cuts and standing tall before you start charging the wake super hard. |

| palmwake, from my experience a firm yet progressive edge the whole time. I'd guess you just arn't standing as tall as you could be. |
