here's a little video I made of some wake to wakes.
I feel pretty good and effortless out there. Although, i think i could dig my heels in more and I'd also like to stop the board from flailing around like it does but, hey I'm sure this shenanigans comes with practice.
any advice or help will be appreciated!
sorry about the quality/earthquake effect
and the song if you don't like arcade fire. I just grabbed somethin and threw it on there.

You'd have more time to edge progressivly (Thus more effectivly) if you edged out harder on your toeside. On some of your later jumps you edged out further and it looked a lot better. You got the distance every time the main thing to work on now is the pop.
J Wak, your jumps look pretty good. I don't entirely agree with WilsonH about the wider cut. There's no reason for you to take a larger cut to go W2W, but once you are comfortable then you should move out. One thing I did notice fairly consistently is that you are landing flat or over your toes. If you focus on landing on edge, it will help you down the road. You'll have a much harder time landing TS if you aren't landing on edge. As far as pop, it's both. Your legs are getting completely straight at the wake, which you will get the hang of over time. For more vertical pop, you should try an ollie edge where you let off a little before you reach the wake, and jump mostly with your back leg. You do have to make a harder cut with it because you kill your forward momentum when you pop straight up. When you move out, just remember that you have to wait longer to start your edge because you still want to have a progressive edge at the wake. _________________

I've decided I'm going to start being more gangster, guys.
Soyou can W2W heel side but can't even do a tiny jump toeside? I admit my toeside isn't the greatest but I can do 3/4 of the wake. You wont ever be able to do it till you try. Plus if you don't put those jumps in the videos, then we don't get to see you wipe out.
Your w2w at 1:45 was the best one. The looked really good. Your video is great for people that think you have to edge really far out to be able to clear the wake. I am sure you will need to do so for more advanced tricks, but you have proven that you do not need to cut all the way out to do a w2w jump.

Good call.
Although, my stance is wow.. I've never cleared the wake SO WELL.. IM GONNA KEEP GOIN AT IT HELL YEA!... Toe side is next weekend for sure.. I was hittin it some times and makin 3/4's like yourself but it was sketchy. Its really tryin to get over the mind game.
I'd also would rather do a compilation of crashes...
