i need help in choosing a board because i won't be able to demo

before i was deciding between a byerly and a balance.. pretty much leaning towards the byerly... i've also seen online that the absolute is a pretty sick board but i have no idea how it rides compared to the byerly.

i plan to ride the board mostly on cable during weekdays and boat on weekends. i have been riding on the cable for about half a year frequently but i have just started riding behind the boat recently.. i can only do w2w and grabs n 180s...

what board should i get? any info would be greatly appreiciated Very Happy

thanks!

The premier by HL is a great all around board that you wont outgrow and will learn to ride easily..

i have been riding a friend's premier 135.. i finally have the money to get my own... the premier is fine, i like it a lot.. i have no dislikes in this board. it's just too small for me. i need a 140-143 coz i'm 200lbs... before, getting an 03 premier was my first choice but i preferred gettin an 02 coz of the sick graphics then i saw the 03 byerly come out.. i really want that board but i thought it might be to wild for me so i looked into the balance then a few days ago i have also been considering the absolute... i have tried an 01 byerly on the cable a few times and i like it but i have no idea how sumthin like the byerly or the absolute would pop

You need to demo dude. It really opens your eyes. I have an Absolute03, and love it. Came from a Premier, and a Byerly. The only good thing about everyone just buying Hyperlite without demoing, is that everyone would have the same board as me if they demo'd.
If you can't demo, get the Abs03. You'll be the guy surrounded by a sea of Hyperlite knowing you have the best board.

There is no "best board", only what's best for you. If you can't demo then write down what you like and don't like about the boards you've ridden, then do a litlle research and try to find a board that fits what you think will work best. sounds like you would be best off getting the premier 140, the byerly and the absolute are great boards but may not fit your riding style. btw, I ride a premier 140, did'nt really like the byerly, and hav'nt ridden the absolute

i definately would not be able to demo them.. the only dealer here in my country even takes two weeks to have a board ordered... the only way of demoing a board here is having someone kind enough in the cable park to let you try their board and mostly everyone's are parks

You should def. look in to the absolute or prodigy, CWB is an awsome company. Everyone has a different style though... Very Happy

you should choose either the absolute 140 or the premier 140... both have more predictable pop that the byerly... so they will be easier to ride... I went for the absolute becase I really like CWB more then HL... I used to ride on LF boards... but my first board was a CWB and I always had a lot of respect for that company and it increased a lot recently... I haven't had the chance to ride it but I'm sure I wont be decieved... be diffrent... choose the absolute...

Hey... Guys dun choose a board for him if you don't know wut he wants in it... One board way suit you but not for others...

Wakeywakey, what kind of board r u looking for? That way we can suggest a better board you want. Do you want a loose skatey feel? Or something which will grip the waker giving you a good edge? Maybe a WB that had a good edge with a quick release...? How about the type of rocker r board type- DNA, biolite...

Based on what you want I would go with the Absolute or the Premier. The Absolute is faster so keep that in mind. It is also looser but then again I have not ridden the premier finless. Put it to you this way, I haven't met a person who has disliked the Premier of the Absolute. I have however met several people who hated the Byerly, including myself.

I'd say ask a bunch of your closest friends on what they like and since they are really good friends they could suggest what would be good for you. Or you should try out different boards from friends or family to try out a range of different feels. If you can't, I'd say ask the dealer if you don't like the board you can return it not for full price but somewhere close so you don't get ripped off...

If you already know you like the premier, but you need something bigger, get the premier 140. Seems like if you are comfortable with it already like it would be a good choice. Otherwise, you really should try to demo a board before you buy it.

I have a Byerly and love it but I know a lot of people who hate them. They are a bit shall we say different. There are a lot of great boards out there if you can't demo I would choose the one that best fits your riding style or stick with the premier b/c you know you like it.
