Unfortunately there isn't a vid up yet on the interwebs but holy sh*t his second w2w mobe 7. What is happening in this sport with the tricks being landed. How can you even judge a contest anymore. The other site also reported that Harley stuck a SWITCH kgb 5.
Not to mention Tom Fooshee stuck a Pete 7 off the kicker at TSR, which there is a video. I'll post it after work. _________________ Liquid Force

Damn, I don't even know which one I want to see more. Probably the Pete 7.
How many mobe 5's is that for Clifford now?...Fat chance, moby 5, crow 5, whirly 5 (and whirly dick), kgb 5. Add in a heel mobe 5 and a dumdum 5 (he was crazy close to one in Canvas) and that's 7 mobe 5's. Unreal. That would make a pretty impressive contest run. _________________ "I'm scared if I stop drinking all at once, the cumulative hangover will literally kill me." |

definitely some merit to this statement. Not like I can do that, and it's smooth as hell, but it still looks more like a spin than a handlepass invert. _________________ Keep Austin Weird |

look at it right off the wake though. It still looks like he's leaving for a tantrum _________________

Word to that. It's crazy though! I'm having a tough time making up my mind on what it is but he doesn't really go inverted at any point, just sideways. |

LakeIolaLuke, so do Rusty and Shane's BS OA 7's, but no one gives them credit for Moby 7's. Not that it matters, still sick _________________ "I'm scared if I stop drinking all at once, the cumulative hangover will literally kill me." |

Pump the brakes, kids! This is definitely a Moby Dick 7. If you want a HS BS O/A 7, look at the trick that Rusty does in Bent Felix (lots of people claimed it was a moby dick 7, however it was a O/A BS 7) If anything this could be considered a O/A BS 10. If you dont count the tantrum as getting inverted, freeze frame the very beginning of the trick, the tantrum part is right off the wake, and it could be viewed as either a tantrum or a very O/A 3...if you look at the board through the whole trick, with goggles on that tell you its not inverted, then you will notice the board spins 1080. If not, its a tantrum with a 720. Thats surely not the best way to explain this, but watch Rustys O/A BS 7 in Bent Felix (or his O/A BS 5s, and compare them with Moby Dick 5s) and youll see what I mean.
BTW: Sick video, JV. |

LFADAM, Yeah, I agree with you. I just also agreed that it "looked" like an OA 7 (or 10) as well. But I'd definitely say that he does indeed take off like a tantrum. But, to play devil's advocate, what takes precedence officially? Is it the takeoff or the invertedness (or lack thereof?) _________________ Keep Austin Weird |

| savage3221, I dont think its either, IMO, its the rotation and handle position (ie r2r vs HS ole off axis 5). The difference between an O/A BS 7 and a Moby 7 is there is another rotation added to the trick besides the (off axis) lateral spin, its not just one corked out rotation...its that plus the other "vector" of the tantrum |

definitely a moby 7, watch it again and act subtract the last 360 from the trick. Nobody would call that an ole bs 7 or a bs 3. Its clearly a moby dick.
I doubt there is a soul on here that can correct Sharpe, Watson, Bob, Katen, Kevco, and Phil (All of which called it a moby 7). |
