Been trying the tantrum for a couple of weeks and have actually landed a few. I need some pointers on what I'm doing wrong so I can land this on a consistent basis. Thanks.

you need to speed the boat up or take the line length in so you land on the down side of the second wake. that will make it much easier, or not being able to see how big of a cut you took, you could just need to take a wider cut at it to get over it

I think it looked pretty good, but I agree with Kent. Speed up just a little, rope length is most likely okay. I think you'd get more pop off the wake and it would simplify the whole thing for you. Nice job though.

Nice man. Now that you're getting more comfortable with the flip, you should be able to get into more of a real tuck in the air. Like a cannonball, as if you were to try and grab the board indy.

Right now, in the air, your body gets into an L position, because you are getting ready to put the board on the water. That's fine for learning, but as you start to realize that you have more time, you should be able to break the trick down to 3 sections: pop it up high, tuck it to get the flip around, spot the landing and set the board down on the water.

Try to force yourself to wait longer to look back with your head. If you keep your shoulders upright off the wake instead of laying back, you'll go much higher, which is a good thing.

Thanks for all the tips. I'm going to head out again this week and speed the boat up and get some more pop. Can't wait to get this thing nailed.

speed up for sure... you want both wakes to look pretty crisp and the one your landing down is all washed out

It's all washed out because either the boat is turning to throw a bigger wake for him on 1 side or there's too much weight on 1 side of the boat. The washed out side needs more weight.
