I owe it all to dlady and her great leadership and encouragement she provided for me, the tough love paid off.
I can't think how the year could go any better, dlady quits the wb.com and i pass my boards!!!

But anyhow, i am so stoked right now i don't know how i am going to sleep. I promise to not turn it into an ambien night leading to another one of my illustrious banishments Laughing

Now all we have to do is wait for Dragon to pass the bar, and wb.com will be hooked up with a full doctor/lawyer staff lol.

I think i better take a set tomorrow because the stars are aligned. On a sad note, I did not win the powerball last night so my plans for the $250 million will be put aside for a while.

ontrider, We actually take boards during the beginning of our third year, then we have one more test at the end of the 4th to complete the license, but this is the big test, our equivalent to the bar. I think over 90% of the people pass the 4th year test because it is more clinical type stuff that you learned in the hospital. Rotations so far are definitely work though. After only doing them for two months, i now know understand the whole "school beats work any day" philosophy, even med school. Been putting in about 80 hour weeks for the past two months, my skin is pale Laughing

but tonight, I DRINK!!

JeffreyCH, thanks man!! Yeah it was a really awful test too study for. I put in about 2 months for it. The problem is is that there are so many different board review books and you just have to choose one and go with it. Then you hear your friends studying this one and that one and it all turns to constant panic. I honestly have been checking to see if my scores have been posted over 30 times a day for the past 3 weeks and I had to goto the shrink to get Ativan because I was getting such bad panic attacks waiting for these scores. I feel like the biggest weight of all time is off my shoulder.

Congratulations!! As I nurse I can tell you, Residents put in a TON of hours. I see them everyday, and then they are there on the weekends pulling 24hr shifts. Good Luck with the 4th year.

Kinda similar - I passed my FE Exam recently after studying a solid 2 hours a night for 4 months. Huge relief...

So wb.com will soon have a full doctor/lawyer/engineering staff!

JeffreyCH, i want to do orthopedic surgery, thats the main goal right now. Because I'm not in the top of my class even though my grades are pretty solid, i might have to do general surgery first then do ortho but orthopedic surgery is what i want, and the surgeries are all really fun. You pretty much are a mechanic.
haugy, no offense but she was nothing more than a wikipedia quack.

Personally she did help me find a good deal on a hotel in Orlando.

pet575, thanks man! I totally forgot that I paid $500 to take that test. I can't believe they charge what they do. I mean, what if you fail? School is expensive enough, and now you are dropping g's on taking a test lol.

ontrider, i'd say she was practically my girlfriend Laughing

haugy, obviously i did not know her personally, and for that I am fortunate. I've heard enough from pimpin about her "personally" that it was all that I needed. She thought she was on a different level than every person on here. None of you were her peers, to her at least. That is exactly why she left. Because she was being treated like a "normal" person on here instead of being held to the higher level which she thought she was on. There was no ones opinion that she actually valued, including yours. That was pretty evident when she got into her habit of reading and explaining the news to us, which eventually one person said whatever she posted was dumb, and then she left. It was like she felt she discovered google news and yahoo and it was unknown to all of us, so it was her duty to keep her minions informed. What my attendings say in the hospital is that nurses are right 90% of the time, the other 10% is how you kill your patient.
